can't connect google site kit

  Hi,

  this is for another site which is WordPress and installed in a subdirectory… westbrooklawoffices.com/211214

  this resolves to westbrooklawoffices.com via .htaccess and index.php changes, per the instructions for changing the “site address”

  however, when I try to connect this site to google site kit, it has an error I can’t resolve. during the connection process, it loads this link:

  please note how it doesn’t have the subdir /211214/ in the link. so I can’t login via this link.

  how can I resolve my site code htaccess, index.php, etc so that I can login simply using westbrooklawoffices.com/wp-admin ?

  truly appreciate the help… I am also having trouble connecting this site via jetpack, and have reached out on another forum for that.

  Your site is not hosted on WordPress.com, but using the open source WordPress.org software at another hosting provider. We also don’t make the Google Site Kit plugin, so have no control over how it works.
