Cant connect hootsuite to wordpress

  Hi I’m trying to connect my wordpress hosted site to hootsuite and when I enter my login nickywaywrites and my password (which I know is correct because I just changed it) it tells me that my credentials aren’t correct. How do I fix this?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Your site is on a self-hosted WordPress installation
  Name Server: BARON.HWY.COM.AU
  Name Server: MAX.HWY.COM.AU

  That said, you may try to check with Hootsuite support for the connection issue, or try the WordPress.org forums.

  so you can’t connect self hosted sites to hootsuite?

  According to Hootsuite, yes you can.. the “we” mention getting support on WordPress.org or at the vendors help site as these forums or technically for supporting WordPress.com sites. That said..
