Can't connect to my site
-
A friend who does IT said he would make a website for me, but got busy. His wife took over and used free WordPress software to build a blog for me. It’s not what I wanted, but I settled for it because I didn’t want to pay any more. The website was created under her husband’s email address, with a new password. The wife tried to turn it over to my WordPress account, but the problem is, I already had a WordPress account using gmail with a different password. She tried to send me something to make the change, but I never received in and it’s not in my spam folders. A neighbor just tried again, but he seems to have created yet another WordPress persona. I’d be happy to pay someone at WordPress to straighten this out for me, but I don’t want to create a new plan — and another website. Help!

I should also note that someone trying to help me created this new profile of suziesiegel030318. My regular gmail account is simply (email visible only to moderators and staff) and I have a WordPress account under that email address.

Thank you for that information.
If the person who built this site for your has access to it, you can tell them to follow these instructions to transfer it to you:
https://en.support.wordpress.com/transferring-a-site-to-another-wordpress-com-account/
Alternatively, you can ask them to contact us here on this thread via the account that owns the site and then we can make the transfer for you.

I’m afraid there’s no other way to transfer a site owned by a different user.
Your only option is to start a new site:
-
It’s a problem for me that this site uses my photos and other identifiers. Will it just stay up indefinitely?
-
If you can’t take ownership of that site and it contains your private or copyrighted information, you can report it here:
-
If I paid for a premium package with WordPress, could someone get me access? Obviously, WordPress must have some way to access websites.
-
Purchasing a plan for your current account won’t give you access to another account.
To gain access to another account you need to have one of the following:
* A transaction ID for any upgrades purchased for the account
https://en.support.wordpress.com/transaction-id/
* The WordPress.com account activation link, which we sent to your email address when you first registered with us. If the email you received included a confirmation button instead of a link, you can copy the activation URL by right-clicking on the button and selecting “Copy Link Address” (this text may slightly vary, depending on your browser).
You can read more about it in our Account Recovery guide:

None of these suggestions worked because someone else created the site for me, and so, I don’t have the activation link, etc.
I do have an email exchange in which the creator of the account is trying to show me that she changed the account to my email address. Is there some way to submit those emails as evidence?
