Can’t connect to my wordpress.org plugin before migration

  Hi there,

  I’d like to migrate my website from WP.org to WP.com, but when installing either ‘Jetpack’ or ‘move to wordpress.com’, I can’t log in.

  I’ve have this problem with XML-RPC authentication to be disabled, is it the reason why? Could there be others?

  Correct account: Yes

  Can you share any error you’re getting? When you say you can’t log in, do you mean you can’t approve the connection?

  If you want to do some XML-RPC adjustments, these tips may help.

  Also, if you prefer to migrate using a third party plugin, that’s an option too. Just be sure before you pack up the site that you’ve got an admin user whose email address matches the account here.
