Can't create a myname.wordpress site

Says my name is already registered. But I highly doubt that, since I am the only one on Earth with my name who shows up on the Internet. So either I have previously registered it and forgot, or someone else is squatting on it. How do I find out which? I already have a wordpress site that I update using my myname.com domain. Thanks!
