Can’t create a new post!

    When I try to write a new post, the editor page comes up blank.

    Hello there,

    Many thanks for reaching out.

    It’s possible this could be a bug with the theme. I noticed this theme is now retired: https://wordpress.com/theme/rusty-grunge so it’s not receiving any support or updates.

    At this point, you may want to consider using a different theme.

    I tried changing my theme, but it didn’t make a difference.

    I notice in the address bar ‘new.php?post’. Doesn’t ‘php’ refer to ‘potentially harmful program’?

    I suspect new posts from me are being censored, based on my last one which expressed my political beliefs. I know censorship is taking place all over the internet right now. If this is the case, I don’t think there is anything I can do at WordPress, I’m looking for another blogging home.

    Hi there!

    I just tried creating a new post from your account and the new post editor seems to be opening fine on my end. See this screenshot: https://d.pr/i/tDrcJT

    This means the actual site is fine, but the browser or device you’re using is having some sort of trouble loading the post editor on your end. Can you try the following steps and see if they help?

    * Clear the browser cache. Here’s how to clear your browser cache: https://en.support.wordpress.com/browser-issues/#clearing-your-browser-cache
    * Try logging out and log back in.
    * Try creating a new post from a different browser. For example, try Google Chrome.
    * Try connecting to a different internet connection (like a mobile hotspot).

    No. PHP is one of the scripting languages used in WordPress software. You can learn more about PHP in this Wikipedia entry.

    That is not the case as I was able to open the post editor on your site just fine. Please follow the steps I suggested above and let us know how it goes.
