  Hi,

  The Create a Blog or Website support page specifies,

  Your site address can include lowercase letters (a-z) and numbers.

  Any other characters aren’t allowed. Just a hunch that this might have been the cause of the failure you encountered. If not, I suggest that you try again at the Create an account or register a new blog page.
