CAN'T CREATE NEW BLOG

Anyone having technical trouble right now creating a new blog? I just put in a link name, title page name, and hit ‘create’ and I’m taken to a new blank page. I’ve tried it in three different browsers now; still can’t create new blog. Just trying to see if this is a WordPress technical issue or something on my end. Thanks!

Please remember that you have to provide the full, complete Blog URL, otherwise we can not fix itIf I look for an available blog name while logged in, the checking symbol will spin FOREVER. But if I log out and try it, it tells me its available.
Come on guys, blogger sucks, tumblr is myspace 2.0, your my only hope! -
Did you do exactly what the error message told you to do? If so then you have already reached Staff and you don’t need to post here as well. If not, then please follow the instructions as stated in the error message.

Umm…. thanks, “timethief”, but I’m having this issue NOW, not last month. Furthermore, it’s clearly NOT “fixed”. If you don’t have a solution, don’t reply. Thanks.
I registered a blog name and then tried to create a blog and wordpress.com tells me “rentonsale.wordpress.com is no longer available. The authors have deleted this blog.”
Anyone with info on this, please reply.

There’s no reason for being rude and I don’t accept any excuises for being rude to those who are trying to helpo and who happen to know whereof they speak. I checked prior to commenting above and the register a blog function is working.

The authors have deleted this blog.Deleting a blog is forever, the URL cannot be recycled and reused. That’s why 3 warnings are given and why a vertfication link in an email that must be clicked is sent in order to accomplish deletion.

Or you can purchase a domain name via a domain mapping upgrade as in that case it will not matter what the underlying .wordpress.com address is.
