Can’t customize header in Regulus
-
Hi I’m new to WordPress so please bear with me.
I am trying to change the header image in the Regulus theme. The header I’ve created is exactly 730×140. It is about 250kb. I’ve uploaded it under write posts, and copied the link location and then tried to paste the URL in Header Image URL under the current theme options. After saving it always says that the image is invalid.
I followed the instructions from here (http://allnarfedup.com/2006/05/19/customizing-regulus-with-a-header-image/), but it does not work. I am a bit at a loss now as to what I am doing wrong.
the banner is supposed to show a few clapping Nubian tribal people.
I am on a MacBook, run Firefox 2.0.0.3. Do not have the CSS upgrade.
blog is charactersofegypt.wordpress.com

Also, I just discovered that I can’t view the images I’ve uploaded, on its page, nor when I try to insert them into a post (as thumbnails or original size). I get the following error when I click on them
The image “http://charactersofegypt.files.wordpress.com/2007/05/bannercoe2.jpg” cannot be displayed, because it contains errors.

Maybe try reuploading it? If it still is giving you problems, best bet would to be to send feedback to staff through your dashboard. They’re open for the day.

I’ve reuploaded the image several times. I guess I’ll have to send feedback to staff.
Thanks

Yes, I can see the images, but I can’t add them to any blog post, or rather when I do it the image doesn’t show (though the html is correct). I’m starting to believe that I am having an uploading problem rather than a problem with regulus.
thanks
