can't cut and paste anymore

    No matter what I do, I can’t cut and paste anymore. I ‘select all’ (a PDF FAX) , create a space in my new Blog Post, go back to Edit, and the ‘copy’ section is not highlighted. What may have happened? I used to be able to this just fine. I’m on an iMac 10.4.11 Thanks

    PDF’s can be set by the PDF creator, at the time of creation, to not allow copying of material from the PDF.

    Try in a few different PDFs and see if you can copy from them, perhaps from one that you have previously copied from.

    Depending on the pdf the content can be a scanned image that looks like text and that can mess you up. As @TSP has indicated the PDF’s can have a security setting – look on the top bar of the reader and see if you see something like “Secured” – I put Print but not copy on many of the PDF files I put on my site.
