Can't delete a category (Grandparent)

  Does anyone know why I can’t delete a category. Every other category gives me a DELETE option except this one.

  It is as follows:

  — — — Fundraising Appeal Packages As you can see, it’s a grandchild category–the only one I have, but that shouldn’t make a difference as to whether it can be deleted or not!

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  If the category that you’re trying to delete is either the default category selected at Settings -> Reading in or Dashboard, or it’s a parent or grandparent of that category, you won’t be able to delete it until you select a different default category.

  I get what you’re saying, but I can’t find where to change it. I went under Settings > Reading and did not find a place to change default category for Posts.
