Can't delete a menu

  I’m trying to use wordpress to set up a new web site.

  I have tried repeatedly to delete a menu (something showing in the sidebar) without success. I have tried everything I can find but every time I go back to look at the home page, nothing has changed.

  The only menu-related item that I see in your sidebar is your Pages widget.

  You can delete this via Appearance -> Widgets in your blog’s Dashboard.
