Hi there,
You are unable to close your account, because there is an active payment dispute on your account.
On 1 July we charged you for an automatic renewal for your Business Plan and domain you had active with us. If you no longer wanted those upgrades, you could have cancelled them for a full refund from the Purchases page, but it appears that instead you filed a chargeback against us with your bank on 12 July.
When you dispute a charge you are essentially accusing us of fraud, and the payment is frozen pending an investigation. Additionally, your site is locked pending payment of a chargeback fee. You can read our full policy here:
If you are willing to cancel the dispute with your bank we might still be able to refund you ourselves and unlock your site, at which point you’ll be able to close your account.
Otherwise you will need to wait for our payment processor to complete their investigation before you’ll receive your refund, which could take eight to twelve weeks. You also won’t be able to close your account until you pay the chargeback fee to remove the lock applied to your site.
