can’t delete instagram tags, captions, and statistics from post

    I don’t see how to embed relevant instagram content into my long-form writing without all the likes, tags, comment stats, etc included on my post. These addendums are jarring, irrelevant and disruptive. I can’t find how to strip them.

    This is how Instagram has designed their integration and you aren’t able to be so granular in how you present that on the site. There is an alternative which I’d like to offer.

    1. Take a screen shot of the instragram post to exclude the hashtags. Looking at this post on the site my suggestion would look like a this:

    2. add an image link on to that screen shot. This way, when somebody wants to click on that they’ll be taken to the post through the link you’ve added.
