  I’m trying to deactivate my wordpress account . Can you please advise .

  Hi there,

  WordPress.com accounts cannot be deleted because WordPress.com don’t want other people to have your username in the future but you can easily delete your site and its data.

  Please note data once deleted, cannot be recovered. You can empty and delete your site. Please refer the below links for more detail:

  Once this is done, remove all personal information from your Account Settings and change your password to a random string. Please refer the below links for more detail:
