Can't delete my site

Hello, I stopped posting on my site months ago because of lack of time to post on it, I’ve been trying to delete it for weeks now, but it always shows this message:
”Warning! You cannot delete a site if it has a domain registration upgrade because you need access to the site in order to get to the domain manager.”
I keep trying and keep getting the message, does anyone know how to stop this message and how I can delete the site?The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

I’ve tagged the topic for staff attention. I’ve heard many similar complaints here. Wait for staff to respond here. They will delete the site for you, and advise you of any options regarding the domain registration upgrade. -
Hi Wilma,
I can cancel the domain for you so that you can delete your site, but before I do I always need to let people know that when a domain is cancelled, that cancellation cannot be reversed. The domain gets sent back to the domain registrar who holds on to it for a few days to a few weeks and then releases it back to the public and anyone is able to purchase it if they want to.
If you’re OK with that, please let me know the exact domain you want me to cancel (starting with http://) and I’ll take care of it for you!

The complaints arise when people have a mapped domain and try to delete the underlying .wordpress.com blog without first removing the domain mapping.@wilmahpm
