Can’t delete my site, keep stalling

    From within my WP site I go to Settings -> General -> Delete your site permanently and get the following message: “We are still in the process of removing your previous plan. Please check back in a few minutes and you’ll be able to delete your site.” It’s been saying this for a few days now so not sure what else to do. If you have ideas let me know.

    I took a look at your site, wearedff788619a-uqkfp.wpcomstaging.com, and while the plan had already been canceled, it hadn’t reverted to the Free plan correctly. That’s why you kept seeing that message when trying to delete it.

    We’ve fixed this now, so you should be able to delete the site by following these steps: https://wordpress.com/support/delete-site/#delete-your-site

    If you go ahead with deletion, you’ll have a 30-day window to restore the site if you change your mind. After that, the site data is permanently removed, and the address can’t be reused.
