Can't delete post

    There are 0 pages listed on my blog, and 0 posts. Yet, when I navigate to my site, a post I had written appears on the HOME tab, which can’t be deleted. I can’t find how to have that post appear on my home page, without adding a page or post. Also, I had marked the blog private, yet on the home page all it says is “Private: Welcome…”
