Can’t delete premium theme

  I would like to delete a premium theme as it’s preventing me from deleting a blog. I used to have domain mapping as an upgrade and cancelled it as my domain points to a 1 and 1 web space. When I type in my URL, it loads a wordpress error message where it should just load the website hosted on 1 and 1. Tried deleting the blog entirely but am prevented from doing so. This is pretty time sensitive as it’s for my business. Can someone help?

  Hi there, you’ll need Staff assistance in removing that Premium theme and I’ve tagged this thread for their attention. If you have another WordPress.com site where you would like to use it, Staff can move it there instead. Let them know the site URL if so.

  Yeah, that could work.

  The theme is Nowell, and I have another blog you can move it to:

  cmqf.wordpress.com

  P.S: Do you have access to the DNS settings ? Is there a reason why my domain still points to wordpress eventhough I cleared everything up with GoDaddy and 1and1?

  Sure. I’ve reactivated the theme on your other site.

  We have no control over your domain, no – we lost that the moment you cancelled your domain mapping upgrade.

  How long ago did you change the name servers to point to 1and1? The domain is correctly loading your site with them for me, but if it’s been less than 72 hours the changes might still be updating on DNS servers around the world.

  It could also just be your browser “remembering” where the domain used to point, and sending you to us automatically without checking if the domain still points here. In that case, clearing your browser cache should fix it.
