Can’t delete site

I removed the domain for switchingyard.art and its seems this staging site – which I have never used now shows the content and I can’t delete my site. I want switchingyard.art gone and this staging site gone. I took care of cancelling any subscriptions and even removed all payment methods.

OH – it just keeps saying:
We are still in the process of removing your previous plan. Please check back in a few minutes and you’ll be able to delete your site.
Its been hours now – and nada -
You might need staff assistance in downgrading your site back to the free plan so you can delete it. I’ve gone ahead and tagged your thread for them. Thanks for your patience.

I’ve prepared the site for deletion. You can follow the guide here to delete the site now.
I wanted to highlight that the domain you canceled might be lost forever, as domains can be difficult to get back once they are canceled. Are you sure you won’t need to use switchingyard.art in the future?

I’m sorry to hear that, but I understand and respect your decision. Should you need any website in the future, not just for blogs, but for business or e-commerce purposes, I hope you’ll consider WordPress.com again. :)
