cant delete staging site and its causing jetpack issues

  so i created a staging site for my site while i was redesigning it so that people could still look at the site and it could be a quick swap. but i think my jetpack connected to my staging site and now ive transferred the site it keeps on logging me out of wordpress on the site and to log back in i need to change my password, it happens when i delete the tab or dont use it for a day or so. i need help because its getting frustrating now, my staging site isnt giving me the option to delete it and i cant even get onto it to go onto its settings. Any help will be greatly appreciated!!!!!
