Can't delete website because admin is no longer available.

  I can’t delete my website because when I click ‘delete’ it goes to my website dev admin who is no longer available to click the confirmation link!

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Are you trying to delete the site bouldersol.wordpress.com or wwwdotbouldersoldotcom.wordpress.com? Be sure you’re logged into the correct dashboard and you should be able to delete the site under Tools > Delete Site and then choosing the option “Permanently delete my site’s address and all content”.

  Yes Jackie,

  Both, I think, actually. But mostly concerned with bouldersol.wordpress.com.

  The problem here is that the confirmation e-mail after clicking “Permanently delete my site’s address and all content” is being sent to an admin account’s e-mail we no longer have access to. That user is no longer working on this project.

  Is there a way you could delete the site for us?

  Or perhaps there is a way to delete or switch the main admin account to a different use from the old admin user?

  Ah, I see the issue. It sounds like you don’t have access to the account that owns the blogs.

  If you can’t formally delete the sites, you can set them to private under Settings > Reading. That will hide the sites from the internet and only logged in users will be able to see them. It’s not quite the same as deleting them but it will have the same effect to visitors to your site.
