Can't delete WordPress site

I have a wordpress.com site dated from 2007. I want to delete this site completely but the new wordpress interface is not letting me. I don’t have delete site option. I can’t even delete posts. Please help.

You have to be logged in as Admin http://en.support.wordpress.com/user-roles/#administrator under the exact same username account that registered the blog to access the blog’s dashboard.

Note there is a backlog so you have to be patient while waiting.

I am an Admin, and I logged into my wordpress.com. However, the delete site option is not available for this site. I see a lock icon on this site. I guess, how do I unlock it so I can remove this site completely.
The site I created a test site have the option of deleting, but this site doesn’t.

What is the exact URL of the exact site in question?
What is the original username account that registered that specific blog? -
Every WordPress.COM blog has a sole owner and it is the person with the WordPress.COM username account who registered the blog under that username account and their associated email address.
The blog’s owner must be logged in as Admin http://en.support.wordpress.com/user-roles/#administrator under the exact same username account that registered the blog to navigate to > Dashboard > Tools > Delete Site

I am not sure if you are understanding my question here. I am the sole owner/admin of this website. My post had the URL of the website. Here it is again:
bddey.wordpress.com
I don’t have the Dashboard > Tools > Delete Site coming up for me. For some reason (I am guessing this is because the website is from 2007 or the lock icon on this website).
Can someone from wordpress delete this site permanently please?
Do you guys have phone support?

This link don’t work either. I get following:
The page requested does not exist
There must be a way to delete this blog. Could it be because it is set on private. I don’t see a setting to make it public (remove the lock icon) and possibly delete the site then.

Your account dbulent is an author on the site bddey.wordpress.com, not an administrator. Only the administrator/owner of the site can delete it, so you’ll need to log in with that account to delete the site permanently.
