Can't Disable 2 Step Authentication

  I don’t like this feature and want to disable it, but upon initial setup, I failed to write down verification codes, so when I try to disable the feature and am asked for codes, the backup code I have sent to my cellphone does not work to disable. Please help me disable this feature. Thanks.

  Have you read this support doc? http://en.support.wordpress.com/security/two-step-authentication/#disabling-two-factor-authentication

  I have gone to settings > security > generate backup codes, but when I hit the button, no codes are given, so…help?

  It’s not a problem. Hopefully staff will be able to solve your problem.
