Can't dismiss "domain expired" message
-
This is the same problem as https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/domain-expiration-message-return-to-wordpresscom-domain?replies=4 . In that case it was fixed by intervention by WordPress staff, and I’m hoping the same can be done here.
The issue is that we have chosen to let our domain expire and set our primary back to jellymatter.wordpress.com, but now whenever I visit the site I get a banner in front of the content saying that the domain expires. This banner cannot be dismissed, leaving the site inaccessible to me. We don’t want to renew the domain, I just want to get rid of the banner.
The site I need help with is jellymatter.wordpress.com
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hello Nathaniel,
Indeed Staff would be able to remove this domain from your account, and I’m tagging this thread for their attention.
Happy blogging!

Hi there,
Sorry for the trouble! I just fixed that up so that expired message won’t show up on your site anymore. Please let me know if I can do anything more to help with that. :)

Identical issue for me with forstarsandbeetles.com becoming forstarsandbeetles.wordpress.com. I’m happy enough just to have the wordpress domain, could this be fixed for me please?

Hi goldenmole, Sorry about that! I just removed that expired domain for you, so you can go back to the free address: https://forstarsandbeetles.wordpress.com/
