Hi there!
Sorry to hear that you were having trouble. Just to confirm, you want to download an export file for the site gamerstormdevelopers.wordpress.com, correct?
Since the download is failing, could you please try the following steps and let us know if any of them helps?
* Clear the browser cache and then try downloading the export file again. Here’s how to clear your browser cache: https://en.support.wordpress.com/browser-issues/#clearing-your-browser-cache
* Log in to your WordPress.com account from a different browser and then try downloading the export.
* If the export is still failing to download, please try connecting to a different internet connection and see if that works. For your convenience, here are the steps for downloading an export: https://wordpress.com/support/export/
Let us know how it goes after trying the steps above.

That’s great to know. If you use Chrome, could you try:
1. Open a New Incognito Window.
2. Log into your WordPress.com account.
3. Try the export.Just as well, if you have an ad blocker or virus checker of some sort running on your computer, you may need to disable that temporarily to allow the browser to perform the export of your site to progress.
Let us know how it goes please.

Are you running any ad/tracker blocker extensions, or an ad/tracker blocking DNS service like AdGuard or NextDNS?
If so, please try with those disabled.

Hi there,
Thanks for confirming that! Have you had the chance to try from a different internet connection to see if that helps? If it still doesn’t work from a different internet connection, please let us know and we’ll look at alternatives.
Thanks!

This is the only information it gives me when I try to export the blog.

The only other internet connection I can try is my 4G connection on my phone, and I get the same issue with that, too.

Thanks @cobradabest, I don’t think it’s your connection. I can’t seem to figure out why you’re getting this error, though. I can’t duplicate it with any of my test sites, even those with tons of content.
We’ll keep testing and let you know what we find.

@cobradabest, could you open your browser console and then try the export? If you see an error, can you send that? Here’s how to find the console. Then just copy and paste the error here:
https://wordpress.com/support/browser-issues/advanced-browser-troubleshooting/#java-script-errorsAlso, in the meantime I’m making a backup from our side of things, and will send a link to that.
-
And, just like that, here is that download.
I’ll redact that link immediately after sending it, so please watch for the email.

Hi there,
The link should be in the notification email you received for @supernovia’s reply, but I’ve gone ahead and sent you an email with the export file itself as an attachment. Let me know if you don’t receive that.

I got the email, thanks a lot! I want to export my other blogs as well, but I get the same error with those…
Someone asked if I got any Javascript errors in the console, and I don’t get any when I try to export it, but I get an error when the page loads.:

I’m trying to export these sites as well:
https://gamerstormscots.wordpress.com/
https://gamerstormgames.wordpress.com/
http://stormplaygaidhlig.game.blog/ -
That’s odd, those media libraries are dramatically smaller than the other.
I had assumed the size of the first was maybe the problem you are running into, even though we couldn’t reproduce the problem.
Are you absolutely sure you’re seeing the same problem?
