cant edit anything in my wordpress backend

    Hi,
    I am not sure why but all of a sudden I cant do anything to edit my website. I can login to the backend and move around but cant edit any blocks, deactivate any plugins, search any plugins. nothing really. It was working fine a week ago. please help me.

    thanks for the response guys! and sorry for my lack of knowledge. I dont really know the terminology etc. Hosting? I think thats with Digital Pacific then I guess because I pay them for something. I just use wordpress to edit my site. But it seems super wierd. the website works fine. its only when i try to log into wordpress backend and try edit or modify something. It worked a week ago just fine.

    Hi there,

    In that case you’re using the open source version of WordPress. The forum you’re posting to now is for another hosting provider, like Digital Pacific, and as your site is hosted on their servers rather than hours, we don’t have any access to or control over it.

    Have you tried clearing your browser cache, or checked if you have the same option in a different browser? If you’ve ruled that out as a possible cause, it’s likely a plugin on the site that’s breaking something.

    If you post in the forums for the WordPress.org community that makes the version of WordPress you’re using, they should be able to help you troubleshoot this and pinpoint exactly what’s causing this.
