Can’t edit blogroll in Contempt theme

I go to Appearance / Widgets and click the “Edit” button on my blogroll / links widget. Says there are no options. I delete that one and make a new one. Says there are no options.
What can I do to fix this? Do I need a new theme?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

If what you are trying to do is add links to the blogroll/links widget, you do that by clicking “Links” in the left hand navigation in the admin/dashboard area. There you can put in your links, and also add links categories if you wish. With Links categories you can organize your links into sections, and those section names will appear in the links widget with the links you assign to that category underneath the name.
Some of the widgets have settings that you can change by clicking on the edit button under appearance > widgets, and some do not.

I have added a “Links” widget to my blog, and I wish to edit that.
The “Links” widget has an “Edit” button.
When I click the “Edit” button, I get the message, “There are no options for this widget.”

I still think the message about “no options” on the widget was not only no help at all, it led me to panic and despair.

Options in widgets are to adjust the display of the widget, and have nothing to do with what you put into the widget. The blogroll/links widget simply has no options for changing how it appears on the blog. Other widgets, such as the categories widget, or the pages widget do.
