Can't Edit Certain Pages (and FTP Password help)

I’ve been working with the following website: http://www.chaponline.com since the beginning of the year, without any issues.
Now, all of a sudden, I’ve been having issues with it this month. I thought it was just a small bug that would clear itself up after a day or two, but it still hasn’t.
Basically, when I go to edit a page, it will bring me to the normal place in the dashboard where I would edit it. But everything that was already on the page disappears! I don’t think it’s just displaying as white text on a white background, because I tried to see if I could highlight anything, and I couldn’t. If I hit the “Preview” button, it just shows a blank page with absolutely no content on it. But if I don’t make any changes, the page will just remain normal for the readers.
What makes it even weirder is that I only experience this sometimes. Some pages let me edit. Some don’t. For example, yesterday I was able to edit the “Get Connected” page. But I can’t edit the “About” page.
Or, earlier in the month, they wanted me to post some “Convention Program” PDFs on all the pages related to the Convention (under the Convention tab). If you visit all of those pages, you will see that I was able to add the PDFs to some pages, but not others.
Any ideas about what the issue is?
I know we found out a couple days ago that our theme could use an update, so maybe that would fix the problem. But I don’t know the FTP password, and even though I’ve let other people in the organization know that, it doesn’t seem as though anyone else knows the FTP password, either. How would you find that out?

This forum is only for blogs/sites hosted by WordPress.com
WordPress.COM and WordPress.ORG are completely separate and different http://support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/And you should ask in the WordPress.org forum.
