Can’t edit homepage

    Hi all!

    I’ve been away from my blog for just over a year and today I decided to get it back up and running.

    Everything is fine except that I can not edit the homepage.

    I want to change the title (more accurately, I want to change the brief description underneath the main title). I was able to edit it this morning but now I can’t find ANY place to let me do so.

    Shouldn’t there be an “Edit This” or “Edit Page” button on my admin. bar when I’m on my homepage? It’s there for all my other pages and posts.. just not for the homepage.

    There is one word I want to change and it’s driving me *crazy* that I can’t fix it!

    Any help would be SO greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance :)

    And the URL for your blog is?
    Oops! you forgot to post it and I can’t see if it’s a wordpress.com blog or a wordpress.org blog so …

    If you mean that you wish to change either the blog title (not URL) and/or the tagline you can do that here > Settings > General

    Would you like to link it to your username?
    It’s very easy to do. Here’s how to link your username to your blog in your blog Dashboard > Users > Your Profile. Then scroll down to where it says ‘Website‘ and fill in the address of your blog and then click ‘Update Profile‘.
