cant edit name servers

so when i go in my domain page and click change name servers then click in the top right “add record” it would immediately take me page to the page that says create a new site
like few hours ago it was working and the new record tab was in the bottomnow its not working suddenly .

If you want to modify your name servers, the page where you click “Add Record” is one step too far. That’s the page where you manage individual DNS records for your site.
To change the name servers for your domain, i.e. delegate the DNS to someone else, you need to go back to the previous page, and click the toggle top-right where it says “Use WordPress.com name servers”. Once you disable that toggle, you’ll see an interface to enter your own custom name servers instead:

If you enter new name servers there and they won’t save, please let us know the records you’re trying to add so we can check from our end.
That said, the option to add new DNS records does appear to be broken, so I’ll make sure our domains team know about that so they can fix it.

I want to change DNS records, I want to create subdomains as well as C names for certificates, this method doesn’t help, unfortunately.
now am stuck and can’t continue my work because of this bug.
I have another domain in which everything works but not this. -
okay i fixed it , i linked my domain to a free website and now the domain settings work
i have never felt so frustrated in my life
