can't edit (or find! in admin) the right column of my main page

Hi. It’s been a while since I’ve updated (~3 years). I cannot locate anywhere how I might edit the right column of my main page. Thanks in advance for any help.

This theme, Unsleepable, is now retired. We invite you to try out a newer theme; start by browsing our WordPress theme directory.

i’d be happy to search for a new theme *after* i access and update my main page right column material that seems unreachable. despite your sidebar direction, i can’t get to it. any other idea(s)?
-
(what I mean, specifically: I can’t access that sidebar info even in the widgets area you directed me to.) Anything I can do short of cop-and-pasting the source code to fix this issue?

gotcha. thanks.
(meanwhile, any idea if changing my theme will totally delete the sidebar info i can’t seem to access?)

No content of any kind is lost when changing themes. After you change your theme all you need to do is go here Dashboard > Appearance > Widgets > Inactive Widgets and re-install them where you want them to appear. The widget contents and settings will be the same as they were prior to changing themes.

thanks again, timethief.
i’m guessing the inactive widget can’t get uploaded until after i change the theme. correct?
in which case, the big question for me remains: which widget did i use? yikes. it’s been a long time… -
oh, timethief. this makes me nervous. i must wait until i hear from wordpress staff before i change anything. i can’t afford to have that margin material and links “disappear” but still be “available for reinstall” somewhere in an “inactive widget” area. especially if i don’t know which widget i used and i can’t seem to find that material in the bowels of the admin site.

Hi stacymus,
It looks like your sidebar is a collection of links. You should be able to recreate them using the Link Manager (https://stacymuszynski.wordpress.com/wp-admin/link-manager.php ) and multiple instances of the Links widget, choosing different categories each time.
All of your links appear to already been categorized so you should be able to set this up relatively quickly, but there isn’t a way to automatically make it happy.
Please let me know if you need additional assistance with this.
