Can't edit pages in Site Editor

  Hello,

  I can’t seem to edit pages in the Site Editor. The only page I can edit with the Site Editor is ‘Home’, which has been assigned as my home page.

  If I try and edit the other pages, it just takes me to the Text Editor which I don’t want. I want to be able to edit each page as I did with the ‘Home’ page; using the Site Editor to create different blocks, insert images, and change font sizing etc.

  Does anybody know why I can’t seem to access the Site Editor for my pages other than ‘Home’?

  For clarification, when I say ‘Site Editor’, this is what I’m referring to: https://wordpress.org/support/article/site-editor/

  Both articles you mention is for the open source wordpress.org. Over here we are on the wordpress.com platform.
  Info about our editor, https://wordpress.com/support/wordpress-editor/. The Site editor is only available to a limited number of themes, https://wordpress.com/support/site-editor/

  Thanks for the response @staartmees and for sharing those articles.

  However, I still don’t understand why I can only edit ‘My Site’ (the ‘Home’ page) within the Site Editor and not the rest of my pages.

  Why is it that I’m able to design my landing page with a range of styles, colours, images, fonts etc. using blocks on the front end but the other pages I can only input text from the back end WordPress with restricted settings?

  My landing page is looking really nice but my other pages have the incorrect layout and font sizes because of this.

  PROBLEM RESOLVED:

  
  @staartmees the problem has now been resolved. I followed the instructions in this article: https://wordpress.com/support/wordpress-editor/switching-from-the-classic-to-the-block-editor/ Specifically, I deactivated the plug-in ‘Classic Editor’. Now when I go to ‘Pages’ and click ‘Edit’, it takes me to the ‘Site/Block Editor’.
