cant edit pages on my wordpress website, i live in china

    ive been an avid user of wordpress for 8 years with over 2000 pages on my (education based) site. For the past 2 days I can no longer edit any of my pages, which is pretty scary. Can you please restore the editability of my wordpress site!? Its link is http://profhugodegaris.wordpress.com My email is (email visible only to moderators and staff) Maybe the Chinese government has done something to block the editing of my site?

    Hi there,

    What exactly do you mean you can’t edit your pages? What happens when you try to edit them? You should be able to edit any page on your site, either via My Site ->Pages, or via the WP-Admin dashboard, here:

    The only time when we would disable posting on your site is if you violated our terms of service and your entire site gets suspended as a result. If that were the case you wouldn’t be able to view your site at all, and you’ll have seen a notice in the dashboard that the site has been suspended.

    Governments can block access to the IP address on which your site is hosted, meaning you won’t be able to access the site using an ISP located in the specific country, but there is no way any government can access our systems and disable editing on your site.
