can't edit the website i was added as a contributor to

  I have been added as a contributor to a website but can only edit the website on the computer at work. When I click the same email that had the link to it on my laptop at home, the only option is to FOLLOW the said website I’m currently a contributor to. It is very frustrating please help me :(

  Hi Liz, yes. I even tried it on my husband’s Mac laptop (I use Microsoft) and still can’t do anything. Is there a number I can call to talk to someone from WordPress? Thanks. Queenie

  When you are logged in at home, and navigate to the upper left corner please click ‘my sites’ and see if the site you are trying to edit is listed there? That is going to list all of the sites associated with the user account that you are logged in with.

  All support for WordPress.com is offered online. These forums are patrolled by volunteers (like me). If you need staff assistance you may type ‘modlook’ into the Tags box in the right side of your screen, then select ‘add’. This will notify staff that you are in need of their help.

  Go to http://wordpress.com/help/contact/ when you need help with something.

  Thanks for that Liz. However, I looked and it still isn’t connected to my account. I’ve tagged modlook on the right as you suggested. It’s just really difficult when you can’t talk to someone, and explain the problem properly. I do hope this gets resolved soon. Your help and time is highly appreciated. Thanks again!

  Hi there,

  What’s the website you’ve been added as contributor?
  Have you also tried to access the site by using different browsers? If it so, have you noticed if your browsers have extensions and add-ons you can disable before entering the site?

  Knowing the info above could help us poinpoint the root of the issue and fix it :)
