Can’t Embed Youtube

  I have a wordpress hosted blog without a video upgrade. If I put in youtube shortcode in the HTML setting while writing and then publish a blank box appears. I have read and tried the steps of the tutorial using the [youtube=http:youtubeblahblah] which also didn’t work. The language just shows in the body of the post, not exaclty what I have in mind. I tried embedding using the vido tab but that defaults to the top of the text, where I don’t want the video and I am not even sure that worked-which it doesn’t anyway if you consider that I want the video at the end of the post.

  The video tab also just inserts the text-so that is no good.
