Can’t enable block editor

  Hello,

  I’m trying to use the block editor, but I only have access to the code editor, and when I’m trying to access the block editor by opening the settings, I saw this message:

  ‘You can enable the visual editor in your profile settings.’

  I opened every possible settings page, but I can’t see the ‘Block editor’ checkbox. I didn’t even disable it. My site is hosted with wordpress.com and is not self-hosted.

  Furthermore, I can’t see the ‘Default editor for all users’ option in the Writing settings.

  How can I re-enable the visual editor if I have no option to enable it?
