Can't erase followers! (I love you mom)

    Hi there,

    I love my mother, but now she is following my blog, and I guess I prefer she doesn’t get a notification each time I write one of my dirty posts.

    I went into-> Stats -> Details ->Followers by email and then I click erase her (nothing personal mama). Then a pop up window informs me “They will stop getting my posts… ta ta ta” then I press “delete” in this pop up window, but… nothing happens!! My mom’s subscription is invincible!!

    Please, someone help me, how to erase an email follower?

    Hi David,

    So your mom is an email-only subscriber? Can you give us the email address, please? Type it on its own line, and it will be hidden automatically so only staff can see it.

    Can you try to clear your browser cache and disable browser add-ons and then try removing the follower again?

    I tested this earlier today and it worked fine for me, but this is the second report of this I’ve seen in as many days, so there might be an issue. First thing to rule out is just something stopping the request from your browser making it through to our servers.

    Thanks for your response. Yes, she is only email subscriber.

    (email visible only to moderators and staff)

    Because of several reasons I can’t clear my cache now.

    I hope you can fix it?

    Hi,

    I was able to remove your mom from your follower list without any issues (sorry David’s mom!) so it seems like it must have been a browser issue. In case something like this happens again, try clearing the cache and disabling the browser’s add-ons.
