Can’t filter by Author when using Blog Posts block now

    Not only on one site, the situation happens on the other site of mine, too. So I suppose something’s wrong with this Block itself.
    Hope the filter can work as usual soon.

    Hi @staff-zinnia I added 2020testjj to my private test site at ablogdemo.wordpress.com and created a draft test page with the Blog Posts block and then filtered posts by 2020testjj. There should be 3 posts appearing, but like the OP’s screenshot, the block says “Sorry, no posts were found”.

    Thanks! We’re not yet sure if it’s an own/separate issue or if it’s related to a similar bug; but the report has been submitted so the team can look into it.

    As an alternative in the meantime, it could be worth using the Query Loop which also offers an Authors filter:
