can't find "add New" theme option

    I have recently acquired a theme i wish to install / add to my wordpress site. The instructions are to

    Log in to your WordPress admin area
    Browse to Appearance > Themes
    Click on Add New
    Click Upload and browse for the theme zip

    but in the Appearances > themes i do not see an “Add New” function.

    There is a bar that has the following sections listed: Trending / Popular / Newest / All / Free / Premium.

    I was recently added as an Admin by the owner. Is it possible i dont have all appropriate privileges for this?

    There is no such option on WordPress.com. For security reasons we can only use the themes on the Dashboard Themes page. Get your money back. You have bought a theme for WordPress.ORG and you cannot use it here.
