Can’t find “Appearance” in Dashboard Sidebar
-
Hi! I use wordpress.com. I would like to change some of the widgets in my blog’s sidebar. I read that I need to click on “Appearance” – “Widgets”. Now I can’t find “Appearance” on my Dashboard. There’s only Posts/Media/Links/Pages/Comments/Polls | Profile/Tools/Upgrades. What do I need to do? Thanks!

Hm, my Menu looks just like that but I don’t have “Appearance” and “Settings”. It’s just not there.
Here’s my URL: http://bucblog.wordpress.com

Most odd.
Maybe try clearing your browser cache and cookies. Restart.
That sometimes clears us quirky things. -
I recognized this problem a few days ago, using both Firefox and IE. I deactivated all my plugins, cleared out my cache and cookies – no result.

I did. And they responded within an hour, amazing! Here’s what I did wrong: I was logged in as an editor and not as an admin! Stupid me.
