Can't find blog on browser
-
My own blog http://petergrovesblog.wordpress.com/ has been running for a number of years. I created an entirely separate blog for my brother about 4 months ago but not through my own account i.e. therefore using a separate login and password. The site is accessible when typing in the precise URL http://johnsgardennurseryrsa.wordpress.com/ however I haven’t been able to find it via search engines in the same way as I am able to with my own blog. It simply doesn’t show up!
The following IS set: SiteAdmin, Settings->Reading->Allow search engines to index this site.
I realize that it takes 3-4 weeks for search engines to locate the site and for it to be visible but it’s been months now. What could be the problem? Any advice most welcome. Thanks. The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

You have published static Pages and not any posts. Search engines are not attracted to static sites. Pages do not hjave RSS feeds and cannot have categories and tags assigned to them because they are for content that rarely changes.
What attracts search engines is unique content in posts, not pages that cannot be found anywhere else on the internet. Start now publishing original content posts frequently two or even three times weekly. For more information read > http://onecoolsitebloggingtips.com/2010/01/21/omg-i-cant-find-my-blog-on-google/
To verify blog ownership of a WordPress.com blog with the major search engines you must use this process > http://en.support.wordpress.com/webmaster-tools/
Note: Even if you do not verify the blog the content will be indexed by search engines so don’t feel panicky about this please.Note also that WordPress.com automatically supplies sitemaps for our blogs to search engines – we do nothing. http://en.support.wordpress.com/sitemaps/#xml-sitemaps-for-search-engines

Thanks. I applied your recommendation to verify blog ownership. I then did a google search using keywords “johnsgardennursery wordpress” and to my delight, it showed up, which wasn’t the case before. Regarding your comment about static pages, I did have one initial post however I accept that this might be insufficient.
Thanks so much for your help and kindness.
Much appreciated. -
