Cant find front page template.

  I installed this theme https://theme.wordpress.com/themes/sequential/ and i cant find the Front Page Template text box, i’ve searched everywhere and cant seem to find it, it allows me to add text next to the image which i’m having trouble at the moment.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Sounds like Page Attributes panel is not enabled.

  Could you click on Screen Options button at the upper right corner of your dashboard and select Page Attributes. You will then see Page Attributes panel visible under Publish panel on the right side of the screen.

  Then select Front Page from the Template drop down.

  Thanks for your help, this was a pain to configure and i almost had to tear my dashboard down to find it.

  I had to go to Add new page > Page Settings > Page Template > select Front Page (This is what gives it the purple background)

  THEN go to Customize Theme > Static Front Page > select A Static Page > then choose your Front Page Template.

  This is like learning windows 7 all over again, thanks so much for your help.
