Can't find invoices and credit card attached to this website
-
Hi,
For this website I used my credit card to get my *nl domain name attached to the WordPress.com site. I wanted to check the credit card number, but I can’t find it anywhere, there’s no edit button.
Nor can I find any invoices, wich is strange, because the domain name was attached a few years ago.
I want the website owner to pay with his card, so I need to delete the purchase/upgrade wich will stop automatic payment. The owner can then introduce a new annually payment with his own credit card. Even better option: change settings of the credit card. Then I only have to change name and number and we’re assured of the domain name being attached to the website at all times.
But all options are impossible at the moment.
The new interface (with context sensitive menus) is very unclear. The old version was superb. I can’t find anything I need under ‘purchases’. I already checked the help pages a few times. The descriptions are clear, but my interface is completely different.
Help is very welcome!
Thanks in advance.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hello hiekevanhoogdalem,
– You can access to the ‘old’ interface by typing
/wp-adminat the end of your website URL. ie. mywordpressblog.com/wp-admin. This interface should be more familiar to you, so you should be able to browse the backend more easily from here.– You can disable the auto-renewal feature by going to Dashboard > Store > My Upgrades
http://en.support.wordpress.com/my-upgrades/#canceling-upgrades– Similarly, you can change the credit card details under Manage Purchases>Edit Payment Method https://en.support.wordpress.com/change-credit-card-details/
I hope I got everything clear about your questions :)
Please let me know if you need more help. Cheers! -
Are you logged in as Admin under the exact same username account that registered the site and purchased upgrades for it? That is required.
https://en.support.wordpress.com/change-credit-card-details/Organizations,companies and/or groups of any kind do not own blogs. Every WordPress.COM blog has a sole owner and it is the person with the WordPress.COM username account, who registered the blog under that username account and their associated email address and purchased any upgrades.
The blog’s owner must be logged in as Admin http://en.support.wordpress.com/user-roles/#administrator under the exact same username account that registered the blog and purchased upgrades to renew them or to update credit card information, or to transfer the blogs and the upgrades to another username account.

Hi,
Well… yes, that’s why I don’t understand why I don’t see the things I should see. I’m pretty sure it was this exact same account that registered the upgrade. The links you send are the ones I already looked at before. They are clear, but don’t match my interface…
Of course I ticked the ‘notify me for updates’ box ;-)
Thanks for adding modlook!

That’s sweet, but I didn’t expect you to recognize me amidst all those thousands and thousands of users :-)
You’re name is very familiar to me. I don’t use the *.com forums much anymore and if so, yours pops up quickly. But I’m just one of many many users with questions. So please don’t be sorry. I’d be surprised if you DID recognize my name after all this time and after helping so many people.

@hiekevanhoogdalem
I don’t see any record of past upgrades in your account. Two of the blogs showing in your account do have mapping upgrades for .nl blogs, but in both cases those upgrades belong to different account/other users on those sites.
You are an admin on each of those sites, so if you go to the WP-Admin dashboard on each site and click on Users, you’ll be able to see who the other users on those sites are who own the mapping upgrades. You will need to be logged in as the account that owns the upgrade to access the payment details.
Let me know if you have more questions about this.

Okay, it was the other account indeed. I retrieved the password and everything is there.
BUT… I can’t change the credit card, I can only add one. What is the best method for getting my card off this site and make the other owner pay for the upgrade? The domain name will be attached until October 20th 2016 so we have enough time. Shoud I stop the autmatic payment and let him know, so he can add a card?
Tnx in advance.

I’m not sure what you mean here. Are you referring to the My Upgrades section in WP-Admin? If so, then the Add Credit Card link is the correct one.
Otherwise, if you go to the Purchases page (https://wordpress.com/purchases) and click on the mapping upgrade, you should see an option to edit payment details. If you click that you should be able to update your card details.
https://en.support.wordpress.com/change-credit-card-details/Let me know if neither of those options work for you.

Aha! Those are 2 different things on 2 different pages. Thanks. The second link was what I was looking for. The UI should have 1 page with both these options.

The UI should have 1 page with both these options.
That is what we’re working towards, but we’re still tweaking the interface at this stage.
Let me know if I can help with anything else.
