CANT FIND MANAGE >> IMPORT TAB

In my admin page , the import LIvejournal page opens for me but it is for importing the LJ comments via the API where we need to put username & password.
The issue is that my LJ is 10 years old & it is almost impossible (because of the huge databse)to import in that fashion. So, I tried using the XML format by visting the http://codex.wordpress.org/Importing_Content#LiveJournal page where it said to import the LJ XML file in this ” Go to Manage → Import → LiveJournal. ” fashion.
But my admin does not have a “Manage” tab????
ANYBODY PLEASE HELP!!

That’s information that doesn’t apply here: WordPress.ORG and WordPress.COM are two different types of WordPress.
My suggestion is to break the import up into smaller chunks. If you can’t do that, you may require staff assistance, which you can get from the button on your Dashboard.

Thanks for your suggestion. In fact I have asked for an assistance from WP support. But after one reply they are not giving any importance to may mail since for last 3 days!!!
What should I do?

Well, two of those three days were weekend days. I would continue to wait if I were you, and attempt to do the import in the meantime. Sometimes it just takes a few tries.

Thanks again for the suggestion. The issue is every time I try even after a span of 24 hours, I keep getting the same error :-

Uh oh – LiveJournal has disconnected us because we made too many requests to their servers too quickly.
We’ve saved where you were up to though, so if you come back to this importer in about 30 minutes, you should be able to continue from where you were.
But I will wait now until they reply

Then maybe you’d better contact Livejournal support and get them to break it up into chunks.
