Cant find my blog in Google since monday
-
Since monday i cant find my blog in Google anymore, when i search for keywords that used to link to my blog, my blog site isnt in the list of search results. What could have happened? I havent made any changes in my wordpress blog that could affect Google. Today its Thursday and still i cant search on words in Google that will lead to my blog page. Anyone know what i shall do?

Yes, thats what i also find. I can search on the whole webb adress, but when i search on keywords that i write about in my blog it doesnt show up in Googles search results. For example I write about “Thelins” in my blog. I could search for “Thelins” in Google before and the first result that came up in list linked to my blog. But now, when i write “Thelins” in Google my blog doesnt show up in Googles list at all. The same with other keywords that I write in Google that used to link to my blog. It has been like this since Monday and i havent made any changes in Privacy section in WordPress.

Google did a reorganization recently and some WP.com blogs went up and some, it appears, didn’t. I suspect it’s because of a problem at Pingomatic, which is the service WP.com uses to alert search engines to updates in our blog.
My suggestion is to register at Pingoat.com and ping them every time you update your blog. That way if there’s a problem with Pingomatic your pings will still get through. I updated through Pingomatic recently and my blog went up 1000 places on Technorati.

I hope this will work, otherwise wordpress should do domething and contact Google.

I did a search on Google with the following to reduce the number of results:
Thelins site:wordpress.com
It only showed some tag feeds. It told me that it omitted similar entries. When I told it to show all entries, all the results were tag feeds, but I could see one entry to your blog at the end of the list (bottom of 3rd page).
The only thing I can figure is your page rank has fell. As Mark mentioned, no one has influence over Google. Your rank gets improved with inbound links from other sites, positive votes through the Google toolbar, and other unknown or mysterious ways.

Yeah, but how could my rank fall so sudden in google? It was high before and my page had a lot of visitors the days before and during monday. This seems very weird.
-
It is. That’s why I said “mysterious” ways. The only ones who can answer your question are people at Google, but they are hush-hush on PageRank stuff (as well as most other “why/how did..” questions). Sometimes it does a spontaneous recalculation and things shuffle. I’ve had it happen to a website I used to own. One minute it’s hiding on page 123, the next it’s up to 10 and vice versa. *shrug*
