Can't find my "Categorize" function!

Just coming back to revitalize an old blog with new content. I can’t find the view of published posts where I can select categories and assign tags! Feeling kinda stupid!

Hi –
Things might be looking different since you last worked on the site. Click on My Sites – Site – Posts
There’s a gear icon in the right hand corner of the screen that you’ll get to with that sequence. The gear icon will open up the post settings, and on that right hand column menu you’ll find tags and categories.
It’s the same process for pages.
Write back if more help is needed.

Thanks for the roadmap! However, when I follow those steps I do not see a gear icon. All I have is the “Write” button, my Profile circle and the Notification bell. Below those three is a magnifying glass = “Search Posts”
This View shows all my posts, I can click and EDIT from there. But it’s just the header and body of the post. To the right of each post is three dots for “Toggle Menu”.
I do have a gear icon in the left sidebar, for “Manage” but that doesn’t get me anywhere!
Again, I appreciate the help!

If you’re working with the Block editor and see the list of your posts then double click on the title of a post to open the post for editing. Then if you can’t see the Categories option click on the “gear” icon top right.

BINGO…didn’t know I was in the “Block Editor”! A new feature since I’ve been here! But I double-clicked a header and there is the gear, there are my categories…case closed. Thank you all!
