Can't Find My Page
-
I created a new page but it doesn’t show on my page bar when I open my blog. I see it in the dashboard under all pages but I can’t find it once I click back to the main blog.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)
-
Start by correcting your username link: it links to a deleted blog.
Then be precise please: what’s the title and the URL of the page in question? -
-
I’m having the same problem: create a new page (contact) when refresh the web browser page it’s happily there, refresh again and it disappears :(

@mamifi77
The reason your front page on the blog linked to your username has this 404 page not found error message on it is because you deleted the placeholder Hello World post. All your have to do is publish a post and it will be gone.Not Found
Sorry, but nothing matched your search criteria. Perhaps searching will help you find what you are looking for. -
I guess I didn’t explain myself clearly, sorry still trying to get the grasp of things here: underneath my blog name (all the pretty jars) there are Pages as Home, About and I am trying to add another one Contact but it works for a few seconds and then after refreshing the new Contact page is gone. It”s not under any parent. Thanks!

You’re welcome. :)
P.S. I’d like to add what I posted above did not address the issue you posted about , however, what I posted was accurate.

@mamifi77: Here’s your Contact page:

Go to Appearance > Menus and make sure the blank option is selected in the Theme Locations pulldown. -

Thanks lot Justpi! Seems to be working now :)
PS: timethief, I know about the error msg just getting the first post ready… -
@mamifi77
On your contact page you have posted your email address in a form that guarantees email address harvesting spma bot will collect it and send it to their pam masters who will then seel it to even more pammers.WordPress.com provides an excellent secure contact form shortcode we can type on a static page for visitors to use that prevents this “‘harvesting” from happening.

I didn’t use spellcheck above – sorry :(
Edit: “spam bots will collect it and send it to their Spam masters who will then sell it to even more spammers.”

Hi there~
I set up a blog here back when I was in school in 2007 and I would like to contribute content to it to make the blog current but when I logged in to add a post, it shows that I do not have one?
It reads as follows;
All (0) | Visible (0) | Hidden (0)
Could this be because I have not contributed content for some time?
Is there a way I can reactivate my account?
Here is the public link;

Thanks,

I went back on my blog and the page is there now. Maybe it needed time to appear? In any case it seems the problem is solved. Thank you everyone for your help.
