Can’t find my site?

    I volunteer for an organization and haven’t been able to find our wordpress site anywhere on any login I have. How can I find this information for our website?

    I previously had a similar question due to the site being parked by GoDaddy. But they seem to say it’s a hosting issue, which I could have sworn was WordPress. Regardless, would love to find the site and log in to it. Thank you!

    Your domain name has always been pointed to GoDaddy:
    https://securitytrails.com/domain/helvetiafair.com/history/ns

    WordPress software might have been what you were using on their servers. I’d encourage you to return to GoDaddy and let them know you were also hosting the site with them.

    I’m curious, is there a way to reset login credentials for accessing our site? I’m not even sure if this jlacocque account is what we were using for it. I’d like to access it to update dates for an upcoming agricultural festival we put on.

    Or what’s the best way to figure out which user account is associated with the helvetiafair.com site?

    There’s not a specific user account on WordPress.com associated with the site. When you install WordPress.org software on a host outside of WordPress.com, the site itself has its own database separate from other sites and its own users. The users on that site aren’t related to the users on this site.

    Since your site isn’t online, there’s nothing to log in to. You need the hosting to have the files that power the site and the domain name connected to be able to login and post anything. There’s no helvetiafair.com website right now other than a blank domain name with no content.

    The first step is to see if GoDaddy still has the site files and database somewhere. If they do, you’d want the domain connected there. More help to access that install, once located, would be at WordPress.org. If the files no longer exist and you don’t have a backup, you’d want to create a new site.
