Can't find my site

    Ok, so I have built a new website on Squarespace and connected it to a domain that was previously connected a wordpress site(www.starled.green).

    The new site is working fine, but now I don’t seem to have access to my old WordPress site to retrieve important info (subscriber list previous sales etc).

    The link I used to login before disconnecting was https://starled.green/wp-admin/ however that throws a 404 error now.

    I did seem to get closer with this link https://starled.green.wordpress.com/wp-admin/index.php?page=my-blogs but when I try to log in, it says I do not have access and that I need to request it from the administrator (which should be me).

    When I log into wordpress.com and go to ‘My Site’ there is nothing there…

    I’m at a loss, what do I do now?

    Hi there,

    The domain starled.green is registered at GoDaddy, and is not a domain connected to WordPress.com. You can confirm here: https://gwhois.org/starled.green+dns

    Because our site and domain are with GoDaddy we are not able to help (we’re separate companies) but I can clarify that when you connect your domain to your new host, it means that the domain you used to access the older site no longer works.

    With this in mind I recommend reaching out to GoDaddy to ask if they are able to connect a temporary or “staging” address to your site, so you can access the admin areas.
